Alistair gave a seminari in Gotheburg Sweden and the short notice event was sold out in one day! Over 50 people came to learn the special techniques of The Demolition Man and everybody was more than satisfied after two hours of training! The year got closed with a promise that was made, Alistair kept his word and knocked Badr Hari out in the first round! The fight at K1 Dynamite was a one man show and Badr Haris attacks was countered each time with powerful and well-aimed combos. Early in the fight Hari got an 8 count and shortly after Alistair went for the kill and knocked Hari out cold with a left hook after 1 minute 55 seconds into the first round! 2008.12.20 NEXT VICTIM: BADR HARI! The discussion was who would fight under whos rules first and Alistair stepped up first! Alistair will fight Badr Hari at K1 Dynamite 31 december under K1 rules! Since Badr Hari challenged Alistair he sees no other option than cause another demolition and knock Badr Hari out! Both fighters agreed to fight in MMA rules early 2009! 2008.11.10 ONE MAN SHOW AT GLORY 10! Alistair fought Gary Goodridge at Glory 10 and "The Demolition Man" delivered as usual! Alistair started off agressive and clinched early, Alistair launched hard knees and took Gary down. On the ground Alistair put pressure from Side-Mount and found an opening, Overeem went for the Americana and Gary had no other options than tapping! Yet another quick win for the Demolishing Dutch Hammer who seems unstoppable on his road of conquer! 2008.11.06 A.O IS FACING GARY GOODRIDGE AT GLORY 10! November 9 itīs time for The Demolition man to enter the ring again, this time Alistair is fighting Gary Goodridge at the established dutch promotion Glory! Alistair is looking sharp and promises another quick and brutal ending! 2008.09.25 A ONE MAN SHOW WITH BITTERSWEAT ENDING! The long awaited fight got a bittersweat ending! Alistair totaly dominated Cro Cop and battered him with vicious knees and Ground n Pound. Two accidental knees to the groin of Cro Cop put an end to the fight as a No Contest. Cro Cop couldnīt handle The Demolition Man who imposed his strength and marvellous techniques on and on, the fight was a one-man-show from the beginning to the end! "The second knee was right on the leg not to the groin, Cro Cop gave up and I could feel it. I was sure going to be victorious that night but his spirit was oviously broken" says Overeem! 2008.09.08 OVEREEM VS CRO COP IS ON! Alistair is set to fight Cro Cop at Dream 6 september 23! The long awaited fight is now happening since Alistair challenged the croatian striker twice. Alistair is coming of two quick finnishes and is ready to do it again! 2008.08.07 SHORT STORY AGAINST MARK HUNT! Alistair made it quick at Dream 5 and submited the fierce striker Mark Hunt in 1 minute 1 seconds! The fight quickly went to the ground where Alistair secured a Keylock and soon after Mark Hunt was forced to tap.
